This year we took some time to put together a "Secret-Santa" package to give to another business that we actually have to "tip our hat" to in terms of style, brand, and poise:  The Dollar Shave Club. Their approach to customer service, and all around ability to have "fun" with their brand has influenced us so much that we thought "Lets send them a bunch of sauce for the Holidays - as a thank you!".  So, we wrote them an email and asked "How much sauce would it take to give everyone that works for you a gift??"...

It turns out it would take about 35 pounds of sauce to make sure everyone at the DSC office was able to get a bottle!

However, the Holiday spirit was running deep... we were not going to let numbers daunt us! (That big box in the photo was filled with saucy goodness).  We prepped the gift boxes and sent it merrily on the way.

The gift was not only graciously received, but they also sent us an excellent goody-box in return!  All-in-all it was a wonderful way to share some Holiday love between small businesses, and we are hoping this is the beginning of a new annual tradition for Hotmaple Foods - the Small Business Gift exchange.
